Does Florida humidity affect hardwood flooring?
Yes. Solid hardwood moves with humidity, so acclimation before installation matters more here than in drier states. Engineered hardwood or LVP is often the better choice for Gulf Coast homes.
Why does a flooring quote change after installation starts?
Subfloor condition. Moisture, flatness and old adhesive are the usual reasons. We inspect first so the number you get is the number you should expect.
How long does a garage floor coating take?
